"Art on the Beach"

No talent or pre-requirements, only the desire to have fun trying your hand at the beautiful inspiration of the Island. What a wonderful memento of your vacation, than your own creation.

Classes for visitors with a maximum class of 5 people for 5 hrs. of instruction and a finished piece of art that will be packed and shipped to your home by Linda of "The Gallery". Or you may take it with you.

The cost is $275.00 US (Includes materials.)
9 AM to 3 PM (Shorter classes upon request.)

A one hour. break for lunch and beverage ( visitors expense).

Classes for Children ages 2 thru 6 years are available from 3 to 4 on Tuesdays at the gallery.The charge is $10.00 for the hour.

The emphasis for this age is in discovery of color and shapes. Free drawing to stimulate creativity is an important part of the art plan for this age. The use of paint, chalk, crayons and clay. Collecting of natural materials found on the beach to design collage on paper will also be explored. Limited space is available.

Classes for children ages 8 thru 12 are available on Mondays from 5 to 7. The charge is $40.00 for the 2 hr sessions.

Individual instruction will be the emphasis of these classes, as the individual level of talent and skill varies at this age.

Drawing, composition, color, perspective and other aspects of creating a complete and correct work of art will be explored and developed.
