This
project was in a small kitchen. The owners are big fans of the art
deco of the 1920's. They wanted the kitchen to be whimsical and
playful, so when their Friends come over it will be a fun place to
gather.
It was quite challenging to figure out how I was going to put the
figures in where they wanted them with all the appliances in the
way. I thought why not have the vamp reaching above the fridge to
the gent. Champagne toasting was something the client wished to have
happening.
The other figure was from a plate the client had in her dining room
collection of plates. The trim that enveloped the top edge of the
kitchen is a vintage art deco design.
